Okay, it was a crappy day, but the sunset was pretty nice over the city.

I’m ‘resting’ this evening. Need it after a long weekend of too much fun, and before a long week of MBA application prep.

My brain is full of Peru and changes ahead. Things are becoming more concrete. We worked out a budget on Friday. I’ve also been sending emails to various temporary rental agencies to see if that would be a good option for us. Ultimately, we’d love to have a friend rent this place. Friends and family discount people! Although it might be better/easier for us to rent it out as a furnished apartment. We’ll see.

Things I need to clear out of my brain:

• Peru project. What am I going to be doing down there? I’m thinking volunteer, do something arty. Or maybe something that combines both!
• The who, what, where and when of recommendation letters. This must happen this week.
• Luke. What to do with El Seis while we’re in Peru. We have some options, actually, just need to become comfortable with letting him go. (His new nickname is El Seis by the way, which is The Six in Espanol. This deserves a separate post.)
• Exit plan for work. What I do need to do in the next 5 months to make a grand exit?
• Scandinavia trip! Wow, this is coming up fast. Need to book hotels, etc.
• I want to go camping one more time this summer. Not looking that hopeful, unless we do it in October! Anyone up for it?
• Birthday plan. I’m thinking Puyallup Fair.
• Letterpress! Must schedule some time with Steph.
