I am going through a difficult phase right now. My MBA will end in mid December and till now I don’t have a job at hand. In fact, I don’t even have any interviews scheduled with companies. Strangely, I haven’t even pressed the panic button. Somehow, i have a belief that I’ll manage; only God knows how!!
It is not that I am not working on the job front; I am working but not to the extent I should. I think it is high time I start writing to companies and enquiring about jobs. I don’t like giving cold calls but I guess there is nothing much left to do. The career services at my school are pretty disappointing. They don’t have a clear strategy to help us. They want us to do the of the work (contacting companies/alumni) and are only prepared to provide CV support etc. In bad times like these, we need more help more them. Some of my friends have started panicking and are really worried about the future.
I guess it is high time I pay more attention (and devote more time) on the job front. There is not much work pressure at school and I can use this time to work on my applications. I better start moving now…

昨日、グロービス経営大学院の 単科生オリエンテーションがあり、 「大学院生による対談・質問会」の コーナーに呼んで頂いた。 40人程度の単科生を前に、 大学院生活の具体的なイメージを伝えるべく お話をしたり、皆さんの質問にお答えする、というもの。 グロービス経営大学院には大変恩義を感じているし、 事務局の皆さんの不断のご努力には敬意も抱いている。 またこの様なアウトプットをすることによって 自分の頭や氣持ちも整理されるので喜んでお引受けした。 対談頂いたグロービス社員でＭＢＡの先輩のＳさんの 名アシストや同じく社員のＴさんの温かいフォローもあり とても氣持ち良くお話させて頂いた。 すでに単科生に申し込みをされて、 大学院本科に進むべきかどうか、 というある程度コミットされた方々ばかりだったので、 皆さん食い入るように話を聞かれていた。 アンケートの結果も良かったようで、ホッとしている。 そうそう、最後に言い忘れていたが、 在校生として一番望みたいのは 多くの素晴らしい新入生が入ってきてくれること。 講義の大半は学生同
