I am a part-time student. A few years ago, I picked up my MBA via Suffolk University’s online program. I was a management consultant at the time and was on the road 80 percent of the time. Online was the only way I could pull off a degree. Now, I am working on a DBA through the Swiss Management Center. It’s one of the few ways to get a doctorate part-time, and it is a much better alternative to the traditional U.S. system, in which I’d have little flexibility to pursue topics that interest me.

Well, I’m happy to say that the world is taking notice. I was just quoted in a story on online education for CareerBuilder. The schools I’ve attended were not mentioned, but at least my voice was heard.
